Decorative Wall Finishes

Walls with depth, not just colour

Hand-trowelled polished and metallic plaster. A surface with movement, texture and shifting light — the kind of wall a flat coat of paint simply cannot produce.

Applied By Hand

A finish built in layers

A decorative finish is not paint. It is a mineral plaster applied by hand, layer over layer, then burnished back — which is exactly why it catches light the way it does.

Each coat is trowelled on and worked while it sets, so the depth and cloudy movement in the surface is created by hand rather than printed or rolled on. No two walls come out identical. The result is a feature wall, entry or bar front that reads as a material, not a colour.

  • Hand-trowelled, layer by layer — depth and movement built into the surface itself.
  • Polished, metallic and textured finishes to suit the room and the light.
  • Surfaces prepared properly first — patched, sealed and made flat before any finish goes on.

The Range

Six finishes to start the conversation

A starting point rather than a fixed menu — tone, sheen and texture are all dialled in to your room before we quote.

Finishes shown are visualisations, produced to help you picture the look in your own space. We will show you the exact finish, tone and sheen on a sample before any work is booked.

Where It Works

One wall changes the whole room

Decorative finishes earn their keep on the surface everyone looks at.

Living & Feature Walls

The wall behind the sofa, the TV or the bed — the one surface that sets the tone for the whole room.

Entries & Hallways

A narrow space with nothing in it is where a textured finish does the most work for the least square metreage.

Fireplaces & Joinery

Chimney breasts, nibs and built-in surrounds finished as a single continuous surface.

Cafés & Hospitality

Bar fronts and back walls that photograph well and give a fit-out a material it doesn't share with every other venue.

Retail & Studios

Shopfronts, treatment rooms and studios where the wall is part of the brand.

Offices & Receptions

Reception walls and boardrooms that need to look considered without shouting.

How We Work

From sample to finished wall

You see and approve the actual finish before we start — no guessing from a photo.

Free on-site look

We see the wall, the light it gets and the room around it, then talk through what will suit.

Sample & fixed quote

You approve the finish, tone and sheen on a sample, and we put a fixed price in writing.

Prepare the surface

The wall is patched, sealed and made flat — a decorative finish shows every flaw underneath it.

Apply & burnish

Layers are trowelled on by hand and worked back, then we walk the finished wall with you.
